The Art of Moving Forward
Make You Money
Are you moving forward or are you just looking backwards? Henry David Thoreau said,”If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.” As you live your life, are you moving confidently in the direction of your dreams on a daily basis? Or, are you allowing life to pull you through your days with an uninspired sense of duty?
Think about what makes you happy and about the things that give you a passion for life. It is important to move toward the things that make you happy and get away from things that cause you pain. Yet it is better to concentrate on moving toward the good instead of living life constantly running away from pain.
Life tends to be a series of moving two steps forward and one step back. There will always be challenges to face no matter what stage of your life you are experiencing right now. It helps to train your mind to be able to always expect the best and be prepared for the worst. This keeps you positive, enthusiastic and emotionally prepared for anything life can throw your way.
Your life should be consistently moving forward in terms of your learning, growth and experiences. Albert Einstein said, “The level of thinking that got you to this point in your life cannot possibly be the same level of thinking that will get you to the next point in your life.” With the fast pace of change in our everyday world it takes being aggressive with your personal development to achieve your potential.
Practice welcoming change in your everyday experience. This allows you to have the mindset of always moving toward your dreams. Understand that change is a part of life that will not go away in our age of information. Learning to adapt, overcome and move in the direction of what makes you feel good will keep your mind fresh, heart strong and spirit energized.
When you feel unsure of yourself or your future, remember what T.S. Elliot said, “You never know how far you can go until you can risk going too far.”
May your day be filled with inspiration and passion!
